North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF) is moving home to Bergen, the global seafood capital. NASF is a leading meeting place for global seafood top-executives, attracting more than 560 delegates from 350 companies and 30 countries every year. Main theme: FoodSecurity@Rio+20 NASF is the global inter-phase between seafood trade, commercialization, policy, innovation and finance – giving key insights into the future. NASF is the world's largest seafood conference and a leading top-executive meeting ground. It attracts around 550 executives from more than 350 companies and 30 countries from the global fishing, and seafood industry every year. The conference is held over 3 days in the first week in March and organizes some 10 seminars with 100 speakers. The NASF arena covers supply and demand, trading, sales, sustainability, politics and finance, with focus on business, future trends and market development. The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations is a seminar co-organizer, and invited fishing and seafood executives from a number of African coastal nations to this year’s forum.
