Seafood winner
Norway: Salmon is the Norwegian peopls favorite seafood, shows survey from AC Nielsen.
While the growth in sales of groceries in general has been 6%
annually, the growth in sales of fresh salmon last year increased
by 47%. According to Bjørn-Erik Stabell in the Norwegian
Seafood Export Council, the Norwegians simply loves salmon. He
believes that the main reason for this is the consept of salmon as
an important source for omega3, and the general consept of seafood
as good and sound food.
