Salmon shares reached their highest price in Chile

Chile: Yesterday, in the middle of the 31st week of the year, the two salmon companies which trade its shares on the Santiago Stock Exchange had a significant increase in their prices. Shares of Invertec and Multiexport reached their highest price in almost two years.

According to the Santiago Stock Exchange, the Invertec shares (Invermar) reached a 12.24% increase in their price, from CLP$ 261.92 (USD 0.50) on Wednesday 21st July up to CLP$ 298.47 per share (USD 0.58) obtained yesterday.

Meanwhile, the Multiexport shares (Multifoods) experienced 15.90% increase in their price from CLP$ 146.28 (USD 0.28) up to CLP$ 173.94 (USD 0.34) per share.

With those prices, the shares of both companies reached their highest price since August and July 2008, respectively.
