The company was recently the subject of two high-profile visits, starting with the June 29 facility tour by the Queen and Prince of Denmark. A company release stated; Her Majesty The Queen of Denmark and His Royal Highness The Prince, visited at Bakkafrost 29th of June. The Chief Executive Officer Mr. Regin Jacobsen had a presentation of the company and thereafter he showed them the production of salmon portions. Afterwards there was reception and a gift of salmon from Bakkafrost was handed to the Royal Couple. Bakkafrost is the leading Faroese producer and exporter of salmon products.
